Saline County is excited to annouce a new campaign during Severe Weather Awareness Week, March 6th-10th, to get Disaster Kits in the hands of citizens to help them better prepare for severe weather events. These disaster kits will include items such as flashlights, portable charging stations, water purifying tabs, batteries, hand warmers, biffy bags, and more. The goal is to provide citizens with kit basics that they can build upon to prepare their families for disasters.

There are also several links for disaster games that family members can play together to learn about preparedness at home.
