On Monday we took advantage of an empty building to saw cut and remove the brick wall at the entrance to the new courtroom. We worked with the plumbers to core drill the waste and drain lines at the new restrooms. Drain lines were installed and inspected in the existing plaster soffit. The overhead water line rough in continued throughout the remainder of the week. HVAC cassette units and lighting are being relocated on second floor. On the third floor, demolition is almost complete in the SW courts area.
Thanks to Todd and Greg for coming in on their days off and the IT department for their help on the wiring demo and locating the live data and communication wires. This weekend, the HVAC contractor is set to relocate the VRU’s on third floor to the second floor. Next week on site, the framers will begin to layout and frame the walls on third floor. Overhead rough in for electrical and plumbing will continue as well. On second floor, vinyl patching of the wall panels will be completed and overhead rough in will proceed. The cassette units will be relocated onto the second floor and installed in their new locations. Enjoy the weekend!
