Online Inmate Visitation: 

Smart Communications is our new remote video visitation system. Allowing friends, family members, attorneys, and public officials to schedule and participate in video sessions with an incarcerated individual from anywhere with internet access using this technology.

Inmate Visitation Hours:

Hours: Monday - Friday  Onsite: 1PM - 5PM and 7PM - 10PM 

          Sunday-Saturday Remote: 9AM - 11AM, 1PM - 5PM and 7PM - 10PM


General Visitation Information & Rules: 

  • All visits are by video visitation. 
  • Inmates are allowed 2 onsite visits per week. Unlimited remote visits unless it interferes with allowing other inmates visits. 
  • All visitors much have acceptable identification (e.g., driver's license, military ID, or other verifiable picture ID.) 
  • Juveniles under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Please call the Jail at (785) 826-6502 for further details and rules to prepare for your visitation, as these rules are subject to change at any moment.
